Choose a game
Three games, each with an AI to play against or to study with.
-
Carcassonne
Play the tile game against the AI.
- AI status Measured on a paired rig
- A change to the main AI ships only after it wins on paired deals: each deal is played twice with the seats exchanged, and the result is a margin with an error bar. The second button pins the demo arm, where a candidate is tried before it is promoted.
For practice against the AI. Not a helper for live rated games.
-
Connect 4
Analysis board with a search engine. Five board sizes, three opening rules. Positions are entered by hand.
- AI status Search engine, new browser port
- Alpha-beta search, moved to the browser from a native engine. A win or loss is exact when the search reaches the end of the game. On an open position the score is an estimate that improves with thinking time.
For analysis and AI-vs-AI study. Not for use during a live rated game.
-
Castle Combo
Two-player card game against the AI, and an analysis board for positions entered by hand. Unofficial, base game. The cards carry original pictures and icon formulas, no artwork from the game.
- AI status Beta
- Monte-Carlo search: it plays each possible turn to the end of the game many times and compares the final scores. Its strength against people has not been measured. About half of the 78 cards rest on a single fan-made source (counted 2026-09-29).
For practice and study. Not for use during a live rated game.
